Okay they use track loaders frequently in California but not in Washington where I live.

Funny story (sorta). In my area, there was a man who owned/managed some large acres, and had money. (Had 5 Honda/something dealerships in Honolulu, and was very successful.) Actually bought the second largest Komatsu to regrade some swales so his house on 40 acres had a better view. Anyway - they transported it up into the hills for him to make some illegal mods to a earthen dam and he wanted to drive it down to the road for the pickup. So he climbed up, took off, and drove. He never (apparently) looked back, because the ripper mounted to the back was down. He never noticed. There was just a long scar across 400 acres ending at the road.
